Overcoming the Challenge of Organizational Transformation

BJ Cortis, Project Principal at Craftsman Technology Group, will join Norm Hawn, Vice President of IT at Prison Fellowship at the Annual American Society of Association Executives Technology Conference. The presentation is titled “Overcoming the Challenge of Organizational Transformation.”

The presentation will focus on Prison Fellowship’s recently concluded CRM Project. Craftsman Technology Group provided Project Management Services for the implementation as well as guidance on Technical Architecture. Prison Fellowship transitioned to a hybrid CRM environment with Salesforce NGO Connect for active constituent management and a SQL Archive for historic data.

Abstract:

Moving from a legacy database doesn’t require just a change in technology but a change in thinking. Hear how one organization was forced to reconsider 40 years of “store everything” and move a more nimble approach, streamlining data management and processes, and even re-evaluating certain core business practices. This organizational transformation stretched the staff and various departments to modify how to perform their operations.
